The Sahara Health and Development Society operates a Mobile Medical Van Program to deliver essential healthcare services directly to the doorsteps of underserved and remote rural communities. These mobile units are equipped with basic diagnostic tools, essential medicines, and staffed by doctors, nurses, and health workers.
The program focuses on providing primary care, health screenings, maternal and child health services, treatment for common illnesses, follow-up care, and health education. Special attention is given to people with disabilities, elderly individuals, women, and children who face barriers accessing fixed healthcare facilities.
